How It Works

Prepping Your Order Order Order

  • Machine-Washables Only: Remove dry-clean items, silk, wool, or delicate lace that cannot withstand standard machine washing and tumble drying.
  • Check Your Pockets: Empty all pockets completely. Remove valuables like cash or jewelry, plus items like lipstick, pens, or gum that can melt and stain the entire load.
  • Easy Access: Provide necessary gate codes or building access instructions when scheduling your pickup.
  • Secure Location: Ensure your designated pickup spot is safe from the elements and easily accessible for our drivers. 
Step 1
Place Your Laundry

For your first order, place your laundry in a disposable plastic bag (maximum 20 lbs). Place it at your designated pickup location by 8:00 AM on your scheduled pickup day. Upon delivery of your first completed order, you will receive:

  • 1 reusable SkipSpin laundry bag
  • 1 mesh wash bag for light-colored garments
  • 1 mesh wash bag for dark-colored garments
Step 2
Sort & Pack Your Laundry

Separate your light and dark clothes into the two mesh wash bags, filling each to no more than 80% capacity (up to the orange woven label). Securely close the drawstrings, then place both mesh bags into your orange laundry bag

Step 3
Choose Your Pickup Location

Place your SkipSpin laundry bag at your designated pickup location by 8:00 AM on your scheduled service day. Common pickup locations include:

  • Outside your front door
  • Apartment doorstep
  • Building mailroom or package room
  • Concierge or front desk
  • Garage or side entrance
Step 4
Pickup & Delivery Window

SkipSpin pickups and deliveries are performed between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. You do not need to be present as long as your laundry is left in the designated location and is easily accessible.

Step 5
We Handle the Rest

Sit back and let SkipSpin take care of the laundry. Your items will be professionally cleaned using our standard care process:

  • Cold water wash
  • Tumble dry on medium heat
  • Expert folding and packaging

Your freshly cleaned laundry will be delivered straight back to your designated location the very next day, between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
